The Directors of Farm Services Limited and Walsh Motors Limited are pleased to announce they have received approval from John Deere Limited to sell the John Deere assets of the existing companies and transfer these to a new business entity. The proposed name of the new business entity is to be Agrowquip NZ Limited. The Directors further advise that they wish to continue to operate out of the existing outlets of the current businesses at Silverdale, Kumeu, Pukekohe, Hamilton and Cambridge and will continue to stock and service the current and possibly extended range of John Deere Agriculture and Turf products from these multi-store locations. The Directors have appointed Mr Ken Walsh as Managing Director of the proposed new business and intend to commence operations on 1st April 2010. This new operation will create many benefits and opportunities for both staff and customers. These include:
